Beneath the city lights, the real Cleveland runs deep. The Underground Ruck takes you below the surface — through the hidden remains of the city’s old subway routes and along the Cuyahoga’s industrial edges. This event brings Classic GORUCK Challenges and a 12-miler trail ruck to Ohio’s toughest city, where history and hard work live side by side.
Cadre will lead the 12 Miler - Trail Rucks at a 20-minute-mile pace. Please be prepared to ruck at 3 mph for the duration of the 12 miles. You may use any weight that allows you to maintain this pace.

This event is one of the GORUCK SHOOTER CAPSTONE WEEKEND events.
A Capstone weekend is an intense series of back-to-back events crafted to challenge the elite and those who have proven their tactical grit and sharp decision-making under pressure. It’s a chance for Cadre to push participants to the edge of their skills in high-stakes, dynamic scenarios that demand accuracy, endurance, and real-world readiness. This isn’t basic training; it’s where like-minded warriors come to refine their craft and sharpen their edge.
Event qualification standards:
THESE ARE NOT BEGINNER EVENTS
Participants must be able to load and clear both a Pistol and Rifle with ease. Efficiency in Flat-range static shooting and the ability to score at least 80% on a 30-round course of fire from 12 meters. Skills emphasized in events include target identification, movement, weapons manipulation, and dynamic decision-making in a safe, scenario-based environment

An OG Event Weekend in the Outer banks that includes a guided ruck 8 Mile Trail Ruck through the the beautiful Nags Head Woods Preserve that highlights local history, tests endurance, and celebrates the spirit of adventure along the coast.

Photo ID: Must be 21+ with valid government-issued ID to drink alcohol.

Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes or boots.
Do I need to be present at HQ at the end of the ruck to win Ruck Awards?
Yes! The Ruck Awards drawings will take place at each brewery stop. Winners must claim their prizes on-site at HQ.
Do I need a weighted ruck to participate?
Not at all! Ruck with as much or as little weight as you feel comfortable carrying—an empty backpack works great too.
What if I don't drink alcohol?
All participating breweries offer non-alcoholic beverages, sodas, and water. Everyone in the community is welcome to walk and support the cause.
